A community led hub of cycling activities situated in the Fairlands Valley Park, Stevenage. We offer Training & cycling activities, refurbished cycle sales and repairs, essential supplies, advice and information, bike hire and our new Fairlands Cycling club (ages 6-14).

Junction 7 Creatives

Stall Location 2

Junction 7 Creatives is a community of artists and creative people in Stevenage, of all ages and levels of experience. We make all kinds of creative projects happen in our town that brighten up Stevenage and everyone’s lives here. For Stevenage Cycling Festival 2026 we'll be reprising our popular 'Open Bike' event - a cycling-themed special of our regular 'Open Mic' - featuring poetry, music, spontaneous dancing and probably at least one Queen song - live from Event Island! Come and find us if you’d like to perform on the day!

DR.BIKE

Stall Location 3

Dr Bike (Mark) is a friendly, experienced and competitively priced mobile bicycle mechanic with all the specialist equipment and parts needed to repair and maintain your bike! Dr Bike can perform simple repairs on punctures, gears and brakes, carry out standard servicing or even a full re-build.

Ill be offering free bike safety check/MOTs at the festival, with adjustments and repairs where possible.

Highway Cycles

Since 1978, Highway Cycles has been the home for all things cycling in Hertfordshire. Our Hertford branch; A dedicated bicycle and e-bike showroom that is fully stocked with only the very most special, pioneering bike brands, and has a huge range of Electric bikes ready to test ride.

Our shop is staffed by experienced and enthusiastic cyclists who will be able to assist whether it is a repair, advice or a new bike sale, we would love to help you with any needs you may have.

We will be showcasing a range of longtail cargo bikes, mid-range e-bikes, hybrid bikes, and some childrens bikes.

Hertfordshire Cycling Walking and Wheeling

Stall Location 6

Hertfordshire cycling, walking and wheeling work with schools, clubs, businesses and cyclists of all abilities to encourage active and safer travel around Hertfordshire.

We will have an assortment of cycles for you to come and try along with local information.

Paint Spinning Bike

Stall Location 8

A Pedal Powered Paint Spinning Bike. An old LP is placed inside the drum at the front, paint is applied to the LP whilst the pedal power keeps it spinning. Once the paint is applied, each LP turns into a new unique piece of art. Take your art home in a 12' pizza box.

Cycling UK Stevenage

Cycling UK Stevenage Campaigns are a small group of passionate and active residents who campaign to make cycling safe and accessible for everyone in Stevenage.

We respond to consultations and planning applications, advocate for cycling infrastructure maintenance and improvements, meet with Councillors and officers to discuss cycling in Stevenage, run awareness campaigns, organise socials, and facilitate a residents' panel so everyone has a chance to share their views and experience of cycling in our town.

Heritage Trail

Come and find out about the forthcoming Stevenage Heart Trails, celebrating 27 miles of traffic-free travel to allow the exploration and discovery of art and heritage across the different communities of Stevenage. Highlighting historic and new art, Stacked Stories, the mosaic sculpture at the Stevenage Bus Interchange by artist Donna Reeves, marks the first piece of new public artwork commissioned for the trail, funded by the Stevenage Development Board.

Decathlon

Your local sports hub with 70+ sports under one roof, right inside Asda! Visit our stall at the Cycling Festival for a FREE bike safety check and grab exclusive discount vouchers for future repairs and gear. We're here to keep you rolling!

Also bring your old bikes as we will be offering our BuyBack Service from the Stall for any brand bike not just our own. (Bike has to be in a reasonable condition and payment will be made with a Decathlon Gift Card).

Everyone Active

We are leisure providers, situated in the Stevenage Arts and Leisure Centre, Swimming and Golf centre and the Ridlins athletic track. As the name suggests, our aim is to help the community to be more active to improve their mental and physical health through a variety of exercise sessions in our centres and the community.

British Cycling Breeze

British cycling offer Community Rides which include Breeze rides which are rides specifically for women led by women volunteers who are all trained ride leaders. There are rides for all levels and all rides are set at the pace of the slowest rider - no one gets left behind.

There are also Guided Rides which are for everyone to attend and again there are all levels of rides which always go at the pace of the slowest rider.

Equipping more than five million children with the skills and confidence to cycle on today's roads.

We don't have a stall as such, but both Hertfordshire Cycling Walking and Wheeling and Stevenage Cycling Hub offer Bikeability Training.
